1.
Numerical calculations of development curves have been carried out on the basis of an equilibrium adsorption layer model for the case of a concave sorption isotherm at various sizes of eluate sample, sorption isotherm constants, and effective kinetic constants (viz., the equilibrium adsorption layer and the relative length of the Chromatographic column).

2.
The shape of the development curve is determined only by the relative column length; a relationship has been established among the fundamental factors that characterize the process, via the relative time, expressed by the ratio of actual time to a characteristic time.
