Conclusions

  1. 1.

The1H,13C, and77Se NMR spectra of selenopheno[2,3-c]thiophene and several of its derivatives have been measured.

  2. 2.

The separation of charges between the fragments in [2,3-c]fused systems containing S and Se atoms is determined mainly by the relative arrangement of the ring heteroatoms, rather than their nature.
