The Award for Distinguished Contributions to Community Psychology and Community Mental Health is a career award given by the Society for Community Research and Action: The Division of Community Psychology of the American Psychological Association. The awards committee, composed of all past-Presidents of the Society, selects an awardee based in part on nominations from the members. Dr. Heller was introduced by Ralph Swindle, Jr. Ralph W. Swindle, Jr.
