Conclusions

On the example of the electrolysis of tetranitromethane and 1,1,1-trinttroethatie, some rules for the electrochemical denitration of polynitroalkanes were discussed and it was shown that this method can be used for preparative purposes employing cathodes made from various materials.

It was proposed to use the electrochemical denitration method for the separation of mixtures of polynitroalkanes, and also for the removal of accompanying impurities from polynitroalkanes.
