1.
A study has been made of the effect of concentration and temperature on the rate of exchange in the (CH3)3SnCl+(CH3)3SnSC6H5 system in toluene. The reaction rate has been found to vary inversely with the temperature.

2.
It is suggested that exchange between trimethyltin chloride and thiophenylate in inert medium proceeds through the formation of six- and eight-membered cyclic transition states with delocalized bonds.
