Conclusions
-
1.
The coefficients of extinction, equilibrium constants, and heats of formation of complexes with charge transfer between polystyrene, its low-molecular analogs, and poly-α-methylstyrene with tetracyanoethylene in dichloroethane solution were determined from spectrophotometric data.
-
2.
An anomalous increase in the equilibrium constants with the temperature for polymer complexes is explained by the possibility of the formation of clathrate compounds in solution, between the macromolecule and the low-molecular electron acceptor.
