Conclusions

The intermolecular proton exchange between 3,6-di-tert-butyl-2-hydroxphenoxyl and 3,6-di-tert-butylpyrocatechol in the presence of triethylamine was detected and investigated.

From the specific broadenings in the ESR spectra we obtained the kinetic parameters of exchange and the thermodynamic parameters of the association of 3,6-di-tert-butylpyrocatechol with triethylamine.
