Conclusions

  1. 1.

New heterocyclic boron-containing compounds, 3,4-dihydro-4-boraquinazolines, were synthesized from N,N′-diphenylamidines.

  2. 2.

The derivatives of 3,4-dihydro-4-boraquinazoline are readily alkylated at the boron atom by lithium alkyls, and also add water, alcohols, carboxylic acids and sulfonic acids to form chelated boron compounds containing the amidine system in the ligand.
