Conclusions
-
1.
Analysis of the ESR spectra of micelle solutions have shown the upper limit of the counterion lifetime in such solutions to be something in excess of 10−8 sec.
-
2.
The degree of micelle dissociation rises markedly as the concentration of surfaceactive compound in the solution is increased. The maximum degree of dissociation is observed at the critical concentration for micelle formation.
