Conclusions
-
1.
Kinetic isotope methods have been used to study the catalytic reactions of 2-methylpentane on bifunctional aluminoplatinum catalysts, working over the temperature interval from 330 to 400°C.
-
2.
C5-dehydrocyclization of alkanes proceeds along two different reactions paths on these catalysts, by direct cyclization to the cyclane and through intermediate olefin formation.
