Conclusions

  1. 1.

The kinetics of the hydrolysis of (triorganylsilylalkyl)vinyl ethers with the general formula R3Si(CH2)nOCH=CH2 (n=2, 3) was studied.

  2. 2.

The reactivity of the vinyloxy group depends on the nature of the substituents at the silicon atom and the mutual arrangement of the heteroatoms in the molecule.

  3. 3.

One of the factors influencing the reactivity of the vinyl ethers studied is theβ-conjugation of the heteroatoms in the molecule.
