Conclusions

Telomerization of propylene with ethyl formate is accompanied by a rearrangement of the radicals via a 1,6-migration of the H atom. The 1,4-migration of the H atom does not take place.

The first observed telomerization of propylene giving hydrocarbon type telomers was described.
