Dioxouranium (VI) complexes with schiff bases

Abstract

Complexes of uranyl chloride with fiveSchiff bases have been prepared. The dioxouranium (VI) forms 1∶2 adducts with theseSchiff bases. With the help of conductivity, analytical, UV, IR and NMR data, it has been shown that these complexes have coordination number eight with hexagonal bipyramid structure.
