Conclusions
It has been shown by x-ray phase analysis and also by optical observations that the substance obtained after the decomposition of CaO2·2H2O2 in vacuum and containing 35 wt.% of Ca(OH)2 is nonhomogeneous: the crystalline phase consists mainly of Ca(OH)2, and the x-ray-amorphous phase contains CaO2 and Ca(O2)2.
