Conclusions

  1. 1.

The influence of the rate of change in the voltage during recording, the potential and time of accumulation, the composition and concentration of the background, and the concentration of the element on the anodic peak of indium was studied.

  2. 2.

Optimum conditions were selected for the determination of the element in pure solutions, and 5·10−10 M indium was determined (coefficient of variation 23%).

  3. 3.

Possible ways of eliminating impurities that interfere with the determination of indium in actual objects were discussed.

  4. 4.

A method was developed for determining a 1·10−6% impurity of indium in special-purity aluminum.
