Conclusions

1.
A series of N-acylsarcolysine hydrazides has been obtained by condensing N-acyl derivatives of sarcolysine with hydrazine hydrate in the presence of 1, 3-dicyclohexylcarbodiimide.
-
2.
1-(Sarcolysyl)-2-p-[di-(s-chloroethyl)amino]phenacetylhydrazine was obtained by the reduction of 1-(N-carbobenzoxysarcolysyl)-2-p-[p-(2-chloroethyl)amino]phenacetylhydrazine.
-
3.
1-(N-Formylsarcolysyl)-2-(p-[di-(2-chloroethyl)mino]benzylidene hydrazine and 1-(N-carbo-benzoxysarcolysyI)-2-p-[di-(2-chloroethyl)amino]benzylidene hydrazine were obtained by condensing N-acyl-sarcolysine hydrazides with p-[di-(2-chloroethyl)amino]benzaldehyde
-
4.
l-(Sarcolysyl)-2-p-[di-(2-chloroethyl)amino]benzylidenehydrazine was obtained by condensing sarcolysine hydrazide with p-[di-(2-chloroethyl)amino]benzaldehyde.
