Summary

  1. 1.

An investigation was made of the synthesis of cruciform titanodimethylsiloxane oligomers by the action of titanium tetrachloride on α.ω-dihydroxydimethylsiloxanes.

  2. 2.

The physical properties of the cruciform titanodimethylsiloxane oligomers were studied, and it was found that their glass (freezing) points bear an inverse relation to their molecular weights and a direct relation to their hydroxyl contents.
