Editor's Note: Two psychologists, John C. Glidewell and Seymour B. Sarason, were honored at the 1975 annual meetings of the American Psychological Association in Chicago, Illinois, on August 31st by receiving the Division of Community Psychology Award for Distinguished Contributions to Community Psychology and Community Mental Health. The ceremony was organized by Bernard L. Bloom, Chairman of the Awards Committee. Members of the committee included all past-Presidents of the Division. We are pleased to be able to publish the acceptance speeches presented on the occasion of the award, along with the introductions of the recipients. Jack Glidewell was introduced by James G.
