Intermediate order and interband optical absorption

Abstract

Based on simple model concepts, taking into account the presence of intermediate order, the frequency dependence of the light absorption coefficient is determined in the region of the optical tail, formed by the “intrinsic” random field of an amorphous semiconductor.
