Dispersion analysis of multiple production of elementary particles

Soviet Physics Journal Aims and scope

Abstract

The possibility is considered of using the F-criterion for correlation analysis of the multiple production of particles. When earlier results [2–4] were generalized, angular correlations were observed at a level of 6.6 standard deviations, this being due to the contribution from coherent interactions. No correlations were observed in pN collisions at 21 and 25 GeV/sec.
