Determination of the debye temperature θ and the anharmonic component of the specific heat of scandium, yttrium, and lanthanum

Abstract

Using experimental values of the specific heat of Se, Y, and La in the temperature range 4–300°K, we have calculated the Debye temperature in the high-temperature limit and the anharmonic component of the specific heat at constant volume.
