Abstract
The previously unknown ansa-o-carboranylenecyclotriphosphazene was obtained in a ∼15% yield by the reaction of bis(hydroxymethyl)-o-carborane with hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene; its structure was confirmed by1H and31P NMR and IR spectroscopy methods and by mass spectrometry. The thermal properties of the obtained compound were studied.
