Abstract
The filler-concentration dependence of the modulus of elasticity of composites based on polyester resin filled with various kinds of dispersed fillers has been investigated. The applicability of the reduced concentration principle to this class of materials is demonstrated. The question of the existence of a universal dependence of the modulus of elasticity of composites on the filler content, invariant with respect to the nature of the polymer and the filler, is examined.
