Abstract
Dynamic and quasistatic problems of the nonlinear theory of viscoelasticity are described by nonlinear integrodifferential and integral equations. Methods of averaging various classes of nonlinear integrodifferential and integral equations are described and asymptotic expansions of the solutions of these equations are given.
