Vibrational temperatures of carbon dioxide in the reaction products of carbon monoxide and nitrous oxide under gasdynamic laser conditions

Abstract

A method is developed for the experimental determination of the vibrational temperatures of asymmetric and combined symmetric modes of carbon dioxide, based on the simultaneous recording of the spontaneous and stimulated radiation characteristics of the CO+N2O reaction products under gasdynamic laser (GDL) conditions.
