Prediction of the life of glued joints under load by application of the time - temperature superposition principle

Abstract

The applicability of the time-temperature superposition principle for predicting the life of glued joints from the results of accelerated tests at elevated temperatures and loads is established at phenomenological levels. It is shown that the master curve can be approximated by a dependence analogous to the Zhurkov equation.
