Abstract
An extensional vibrorheometer and a system for its automatic control have been developed. The instrument which has been created makes it possible to investigate liquid polymers under conditions of extensional deformation under a regime where\(\mathop \varepsilon \limits^.\)=const. Such investigations may be carried out over a wide range of rates and deformations with the simultaneous superimposition on the extensional flow of periodic deformations covering a range of frequencies exceeding three decimal orders.
