Abstract
The effect of surface-active agents on the friction properties of plastics has been investigated in relation to the example of an aqueous solution of alkyl phenol polyethylene glycol ether (OP-10) and polymethyl methacrylate. In the presence of a surface-active agent, as a result of adsorption plasticization, the deformation is localized in a thin plasticized layer without affecting the underlying layers of plastic.
