Abstract
Data relating to the strength characteristics of the whole human pelvis are presented. After measuring the anatomical dimensions of the pelvis, samples were subjected to mechanical loads in a UG-20/2 hydraulic machine until breaks or cracks appeared in the bones or other obvious damage occurred, the degree of deformation of the pelvis being recorded at the same time. After unloading, the residual deformations were measured. An anatomical-biological estimate of weak places in the human pelvic girdle is presented.
