Conclusions

  1. 1.

The systems HF-M2PtF6-H2O (M=K, Rb, Cs) were studied by the method of isothermal solubility.

  2. 2.

The isotherms of the solubility of the systems studied are represented by two branches, to which various solid phases correspond: K2PtF6 and K2PtF6·HF for the system HF-K2PtF6-H2O; Rb2PtF6 and Rb2PtF6·4HF for the system HF-Rb2PtF6-H2O; Cs2PtF6 and Cs2PtF6·4HF for the system HF-Cs2PtF6-H2O.

  3. 3.

The dependence of the solubility of hexafluoroplatinates of the alkali metals in anhydrous hydrogen fluoride on the ionic radius of the cation was established.
