Conclusions

The existence of donor-acceptor-type molecular complexes in the systems C2H2-HCl and C2H2-Cl2 was detected by the method of IR spectroscopy in the solid phase at temperatures close to the temperature of liquid nitrogen.

At low temperatures (~ 95°K), under conditions of good mixing of the components, there is a reaction of selective addition of acetylene at the multiple bond, with the formation of trans-1, 2-dichloroethylene.
