Synthesis of heterocyclic analogs of hydroxylamine

Conclusions

  1. 1.

    A method was developed for the synthesis of difficultly accessible 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-1-piperidinols from stable nitroxides (piperidinooxy free radicals).

  2. 2.

    A method is proposed for the quantitative determination of nitroxides with the aid of their reactions with phenylhydrazine.
