Reactions of dichlorodimethylsilane and of dichloromethylphenylsilane with 1,4-dihydro-1,4-naphthylenedilithium

Conclusions

The reactions of 1, 4-dihydro-1, 4-naphthylenedilithium with dichlorodimethylsilane and dichloromethylphenylsilane were studied, and the corresponding derivatives were obtained. For confirmation of structure they were hydrolyzed, and dihydroxy derivatives of various degrees of polymerization were obtained.
