  • Published:
Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, Division of chemical science Aims and scope

Conclusions

  1. 1.

The rate constant of the first-order hydrolysis was determined for 29 different saturated and unsaturated mono- and diacetals.

  2. 2.

The influence of electron-acceptor substituents on the rate of hydrolysis of the acetals was determined.
