Chemical reactions in a chromatographic partitioning system

  • Published:
Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, Division of chemical science Aims and scope

Conclusions

  1. 1.

A theoretical analysis shows that under the conditions of Chromatographie separation, chemical reactions of various phase types acquire certain general characteristics-a shift of the equilibria, downward expansion of the temperature region, elimination of a number of side processes.

  2. 2.

An experimental verification of the conclusions of the theory, with the catalytic dehydrogenation of cyclohexane and butane as an example, using pulsed and radiochromatography, confirmed the correctness of these conclusions.
