1.
The influence of the inductive effect of radicals bonded to the silicon atom, the dielectric permeability of the medium, and the amount of the catalyst on the rate of polymerization of organosiloxane oligomers under the action of alkalies was studied.
-
2.
An ionic mechanism of the catalytic polymerization of organosiloxane oligomers with cyclolinear structure, based on the interaction of organosiloxane rings with the active center\(\begin{gathered} | \hfill \\ -- S --O^ - M^ + \hfill \\ | \hfill \\ \end{gathered} \) (M-alkali metal), resulting in the formation of a transition complex, followed by opening of the ring with cleavage of the siloxane bond and addition to the active center, was confirmed.
