Autoradiographic determination of parameters of the cell cycle of a human testicular tumor in tissue culture

Abstract

Parameters of the cell cycle of a human testicular tumor in primary culture were studied by autoradiography. The cells were incubated in medium containing thymidine-H3 for a long period. The duration of the mitotic cycle of the population as a whole and of its individual phases was: T=83.6 h, S=5.35 h, G2=18 h, and G1+M=60.25 h.
