Abstract
It is shown that so-called developed laminar gas flow in a two-dimensional channel cannot continue beyond values of λ ≅ 0.74. At λ > > 0.74 the flow is accompanied by considerable deformation of the velocity profiles in the direction of greater fullness, while the resistance coefficient ζ increases.
