Abstract

In the “atomic block reinforcement” theory of I. V. Borovskii and K. P. Gurov only one extremum was obtained in the “property-impurity concentration” curves for single crystals. However in systems of dilute polycrystalline lead-tin alloys there are two maxima in the concentration curves of the Hall constant and the electrical resistance which appear to be associated with effects at the grain boundaries.
