Abstract
Impending financial cutbacks motivated this center to implement a direct service model of operation in 1980. As a result, client fee income has risen dramatically in less than two years. This paper presents a brief overview of Tazwood Center, the different fee systems attempted here, and a description and evaluation of the direct service model. Administrative and clinical considerations are discussed.
