Domain structures of ferromagnetic films examined with the EM-7 microscope

  • Published:
Soviet Physics Journal Aims and scope

Abstract

Several recent papers [1–4] have described methods of observing the domain structure in ferromagnetic thin films (ftf) by transmission microscopy. Results are given for an EM-7 microscope employing an out-of-focus image and unequal illumination, with reference to films of 25% Fe + 75% Ni magnetized along the easy and difficult axes.
