Abstract
Parametric expressions for the dispersion relations in a quadratic approximation in the wave-vector components, the possible degeneracy multiplicities, and the zero slopes of the energy surfaces in the vicinity of typical points of the Brillouin zone for orthorhombic crystals with a face-centered lattice Γ f0 are obtained by the methods of group theory. Spin-orbit interaction is taken into account. The location of the constant-energy surfaces as a function of the lattice parameters is studied.
