Abstract
A calculation procedure is described which can be used to determine the spatial and temporal distortions of a signal at the receiver input for any angular characteristic of the radiation source, receiver directional pattern, or scattering characteristic of the medium. This procedure can be used to determine the signal envelope at the receiver input with respect to time and angular coordinates. The procedure is based on a study of the solution of the nonsteady-state radiation-transport equation. An expression is given for the k-th scattering order.
