Abstract
Autoradiographic studies of the epithelium of the biliary tract of rats and guinea pigs using thymidine-H3 showed that hydrocortisone lengthens the time of DNA synthesis. There is a parallel delay of the cells in the G1-period. Analysis of the numerical results showed correlation between the number of cells synthesizing DNA and the intensity of incorporation of thymidine-H3 into them.
