Conclusions
-
1.
A study was made of the kinetics of densification in the sintering of metal-glass materials. It was established that the densification of metal-glass materials undergoing sintering obeys the general laws of sintering.
-
2.
The hypothesis is advanced that, within the glass phase content range investigated, the principal parameters of the sintering of metal-glass materials are determined by the condition of their metallic matrix.
-
3.
Formulas are proposed describing the effects of glass phase content upon the viscosity of metal-glass materials undergoing sintering.
