Conclusions
-
1.
An examination is made of two methods of supply of material being sprayed to the combustion chamber of a detonation unit and of the possibility of controlling its concentration in any part of the chamber.
-
2.
It is shown that axial supply ensures more effective interaction (acceleration and heating) between the powder and combustion products, resulting in better quality of spraydeposited coatings.
-
3.
A method of improving the supply of powder still further is proposed.
