Conclusions
A study was made of the mechanism of disintegration and erosion resistance of composite materials consisting of titanium, zirconium, and aluminum nitrides in an electron stream during spark and electron-beam machining. It is shown that the extent of disintegration of such a composite material in an electron stream is determined chiefly by the rate and mechanism of evaporation of its components.
