Conclusions
-
1.
The temperature ranges in which iron and manganese powders react with the decomposition products of ammonium chloride have been determined.
-
2.
It has been established that the addition of a manganese powder to a mixture lowers the temperature of the reaction between the mixture and the dissociation products of ammonium chloride compared with a mixture containing only an iron powder.
