Summary

We have studied the reverse blowing of cermet filters made from nonspherical powders in operation with air contaminated with blast furnace dust. The possibility of regenerating these filters has been demonstrated. The optimum conditions for reverse blowing corresponded to a value of Vb/V equal to about 0.75.
