Shape — Effects in type II superconductors

Abstract

The magnetisation behaviour M(H °) of ideal and non-ideal Type II superconductors in disc-geometry and in perpendicular applied field H ° is obtained by numerical calculation and is compared with experiment on niobium and BSCCO single crystal specimens.
